Cubist Profile Earrings

In analytical cubism, objects are broken up and reassembled in an abstracted form. A detail from a 1912 portrait of Germaine Raynal by Juan Gris shows the beginning of that movement, which was to have a great influence on the art world. These earrings apply the cubist concept to the profile of a face. The author of this artwork died more than 70 years ago. according to u.s. copyright law, copyright expires 70 years after the author's death.
