Our artisan partners named this basket "Chumil," the Kaqchikel word for "star." Skillfully woven from longleaf pine needles, pajón, a native grass in Guatemala), and raffia, with a central star design rendered in shades of green, this basket is beautiful for display but also entirely functional.
