Each of the metal worked items are made from repurposed oil drums, which helps the Haiti charity, Beyond Borders, by working to end child slavery and prevent violence to women.
The process begins with a chalk drawing on the oil drum, all of the negative space is cut out completely from hand, then a hammer is used to create the various details that will amaze you everyday. It is as if you can hear the village's music of hammering and lives changing.
Intricate radiating rows of rays give this sun face design amazing depth.
